Event Details
A goal of the religious school is to integrate the students into the ritual life of the congregation. One of the ways we do this is to have students participate in Shabbat Services.
Amanda Rosenthal’s 6A class will lead the service on Friday evening, October 16th at 6:15 p.m. We are also very lucky to have participation by our junior choir and a special closing song by classes 2A and 2B. It is sure to be a joyous evening!
Following the 6:15 p.m. service, we will have a potluck dinner. The Temple provides an entree, vegetarian alternative entree, tossed salad and a starch. Members whose last names begin with A through L should bring dessert; M through Z side dish, vegetable or salad. In respect for Jewish dietary laws, we ask that families not bring dishes that contain both milk and meat, or any dishes that contain shellfish or pork.
Members may bring their own bottles of wine to have with dinner.
The cost is $10.00 per person. If you would like to attend the dinner, please RSVP by 9:00 AM October 15th . Simply enter the number of "tickets" for dinner you would like to purchase and you will be guided through a simple credit card online payment. You may also choose to login and use a prexisting paypal account to pay. This is a secure online payment system. Payments are non-refundable.
